NOV/DEC. FREE STORYTELLING WORKSHOP TO EXPLORE GUN VIOLENCE AND THE MOVEMENT TO CREATE MEANINGFUL CHANGE

HOUSES ON THE MOON THEATER COMPANY, a professional New York based not-for-profit dedicated to amplifying unheard voices,
is seeking participants for a storytelling workshop exploring the impact of the gun on American life, community response to gun violence and the movement to create meaningful change.

A small team of professional theater artists and teachers are conducting interactive creative workshops in New York City in November and December that will combine personal storytelling, interviews, discussion and writing exploring the subject of guns and gun violence in America. Non-performers welcome. No experience necessary. All you need to participate is a story you want to share and/or a desire to listen. All will participate at their own comfort level.

Participants may elect to join us (though it is not required) for an evening Off Broadway this winter with people from around the Northeast who are offering their stories in the effort to educate, offer support and motivate change around gun violence in America. If you are unable to participate but have a story you are willing to share with us, we would love to arrange a private interview face to face, or on the phone. Confidentiality assured.

To participate or to find out more information please call Co-Artistic Directors Emily Weiner or Jeffrey Solomon 646-228-2292 or email housesonthemoon@gmail.com
